Terms of service

These terms govern your use of FileConverterPro(the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• process content that is illegal, infringing, or violates anyone's rights;
• process content you don't own or don't have permission to convert (e.g. DRM-protected files);
• attempt to overload, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying providers;
• build or distribute automated abuse, scraping, or scraping-like clients.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of every file you process. Most tools run entirely in your browser; we don't see or store those files. For any tool that does process files on a server, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process them solely to deliver the converted result.

4. Free and paid plans

• The free tier has reasonable limits (file size, batch count, daily jobs).
• The Pro plan unlocks higher limits and removes ads. Pro is billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
• We may change limits or pricing with reasonable notice. If you're a Pro subscriber and the change materially reduces what you receive, you can cancel for a prorated refund of the unused period.

5. Refunds & cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the customer portal. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't generally issue refunds for partial months, but if something goes seriously wrong, email us — we handle it case by case.

6. Service availability

We do our best to keep the Service running but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uptime, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. DMCA & copyright

If you believe content processed via the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at barkie.media@gmail.com with details (the work, the infringing use, your contact info, and a good-faith statement). We respond promptly to valid requests.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that endangers it or other users. You can stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
