How to use Resize Image
- 1. Upload your image. JPG, PNG, or WebP. We'll read its dimensions automatically.
- 2. Choose new dimensions. Type exact pixels or pick a percentage. Lock the aspect ratio to avoid distortion.
- 3. Pick a format. Keep the original format or switch to JPG, PNG, or WebP. Adjust quality for JPG/WebP.
- 4. Download. The resized image saves to your device. The original file is never modified.
FAQ
Will resizing reduce quality?
Shrinking is essentially lossless visually — the image just has fewer pixels. Enlarging beyond the original size will look soft, since the browser has to invent pixels.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Files never touch our servers.
What's the maximum file size?
25 MB per image. Larger files would slow your browser down — for huge files, compress first, then resize.
Why is my output file bigger than the original?
Usually because PNG was selected for a JPG-like photo, or quality was set high. Pick JPG (or WebP) and lower the quality slider for smaller files.
Does this preserve transparency?
Yes — PNG and WebP outputs keep transparency. Saving as JPG will fill transparent areas with white (JPG has no alpha channel).
